We had two recent transactions, servicing our X3 and trading in for a new M140i. I'm happy with the quality of work and the cars, and feel we reached a fair deal. However there were a number of customer service issues.
Good relaxing waiting area.
I had a wait of ten minutes for attention at the service desk.Although promised the car was neither valeted nor cleaned.On the floor of the vehicle was a small cover which had not been fitted onto the car after service.
Fixed first time & pleasantly suprised to have my bmw washed & vacuumed in the time I was there
Relatively Fast and although opted not to have vehicle cleaned, it was returned as I brought, no oily marks etc.

all going well until I went to pick up the car, arranged to pick up at 4pm took car in for 10am.when I arrived at 4, I was told that the car was not quite ready and needed to be washed and would not be long at 5-30 still waiting they had forgot me.
I called with an engine warning issue whilst away on holiday an they were able to fit me in the next day, diagnose the issue and fix with replacement part within 3 hours. Great customer service.

See above, stood for 10 minutes before anyone offered to help, during that time numerous members of staff just walked by seemingly trying to avoid catching my eye. Once dealt with, the service was good

The experience was satisfactory but spoilt by failure of Coopers to advise when service would be complete. Courtesy cars insurance ran out at 17.00 so had to chase for a completion time, was redirected 5 times on the phone before an answer was given
Confident my car is in the best hands
Over nine years their service has rarely been less than excellent.
My wife took my car she had a two week old baby which had been highlighted in my booking phone call. the time for the part to be replaced was 3.5-4hrs but the vehicle was not ready for 4hrs 20min. They also didn't know what was being fixed initially.
Arrived at Cooper Malton 10am, and waited quite some time for a courtesy car, I went back late that afternoon and on arriving was surprised to see my car at the front door unwashed, remarked on this but did'nt seem to care. never again.
The service team at Malton are excellent. The quality of service is consistently good - the team are helpful and very understanding of my limited knowledge of mechanics!! I can usually arrange service appointments to suit my busy diary.

BMW Malton explained the purchase very well and provided me with an acceptable package. I considered a Jaguar XE/XF, but am glad that I kept with BMW. The free monthly valet/safety check to my car will keep the car to the standard I purchased it.
Max Horncastle the sales representative I purchased my car with is a little green. It would have been five stars but he questioned my integrity in a flippant manner on two occasions, hence only awarding four stars.
Excellent service, slightly disappointed as couldn't get the red strip seats for my 1 series.
